You know how some people fail at life? Well, the following people are what we would call people who are winning at life. They must be if they are happy enough to pose for pictures in their awesome costumes.
As much as you would think the following people must have spent 5 minutes max to put their costumes together, you know it took them hours and an emergency call to their mums for help. Where’s Neil Buchanan when you need him? Oh, that’s right, he’s in a f#cking metal band called Marseille.
What we do know is that the following people totally nailed their costumes and we are all jealous of them. We just hope someone comes up with the idea of giving awards out for the most “creative” costume.
10. Do I Look Like Nicki Minaj?
We all look up to and admire certain people. Then one day someone tells you when they’re drunk that you slightly look like your idol – big mistake. This chick is a prime example of this and now because of a drunk friend everyone else is LOLing at her. But then what do we know, she’s may look identical in a dim room.
9. Darth Vada
Man, you totally nailed it. We mean you have everything except a lightsaber – a rookie mistake we know, but what can you do. You can tell it took him hours to make this to impress his friends at a party to then fall in the pool within an hour.
8. Thor: The Avengers
This guy totally nailed it! The idea of using a yellow bag as a substitute for Thor’s hair is genius. If he didn’t get laid where ever he was going then the rest of us don’t stand a chance.
7. Vegeta: Dragonball Z
Is your favourite anime Dragon Ball Z? Do you long to one day dress up as your favorite Super Saiyan, Vegeta? Well when that day comes then follow suit of this guy. Oh and don’t forget to use an empty Tic Tac for your scouter – close enough, right?
6. Black Widow: The Avengers
It’s no secret, Scarlett Johansson is hot. She is even hotter as Black Widow from The Avengers. Sorry to this girl, but there are certain things certain people shouldn’t do – just like Ke$ha shouldn’t wear are bikini. But close enough…we guess.
5. Goku: Dragon Ball Z
We are unsure if this is a “nailed it” costume moment, or this is his everyday look. We know he has Goku’s hair down but where is his Gi (If you aren’t a DBZ fan you won’t get that). We just can’t help but wish that Goku was black. They should defiantly get Terri Crews to play him in a movie.
4. Bane: Batman
Want to dress up as Bane but too tight to pay for a costume? Simply place a pair of your girlfriend’s knickers over your head and Voilà, you’re Bane – well, close enough. Don’t worry, if you haven’t got a girlfriend a pair of your mum’s will do.
3. RoboCop
We will admit it: We once watched RoboCop back in the ’90s and we thought it was sh#t. But we would totally dress us as him and walk around the house like it’s normal – you can totally buy a RoboCop costume on eBay for around $100. But then again, have a few baking trays and a roll of tin foil? Why not impress the girlfriend and dress up as him? We bet it’s one of her bedroom fantasies.
2. Iron Man
We need to track this guy down and ask him if we can be his friend as the man is a genius. Think about it: Would you rather pay $100s on an Iron Man costume replica. Or would you rather get some red bin bags and cellotape that shit to yourself? The only thing that could improve this costume however is he could have done with a little more cellotape.

Hmmmm, I wish to look like Patrick but I am unsure how to go about it… 7 pints later… “Dude, you should totally put them cones on your limbs!” And the penny drops…
